Cardi B says Beyonce’s concerts are “way removed” from what she can do on stage.<\/p>\n
\nThe 33-year-old rapper is in the midst of her two-month, 35-show Little Miss Drama tour and she revealed that before the run, she was doing research attending Madonna and Beyonce gigs, with the latter in particular – the Cowboy Carter Tour – giving her pause for thought.<\/p>\n
\nShe told Allure magazine: “That was way crazy. That’s way removed from what I could do.”<\/p>\n
\nIt’s also not what her fans expect from her, which includes an all-round good vibe.<\/p>\n
\nIn rehearsals, Cardi was forced to face one of her weaknesses – “dancing”.<\/p>\n
\nShe added: \u201cI hate choreography; it\u2019s like math to me. I don\u2019t have much of a rhythm like that. I could rap all day. But dancing is like, ugh.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nCardi is flanked by dancers on stage, and she has done her best to create something special for her fans.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cI want to give my fans a good moment and have been pulling strings to make this s*** happen, and it\u2019s turning out beautiful.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe WAP hitmaker has kids Kulture, seven, Wave, four, and 17-month old Blossom with estranged husband Offset, and gave birth to a baby boy in November with NFL player Stefon Diggs.<\/p>\n
\nHer tour launched just three months after giving birth, and she has hit back at the “haters” who doubted her commitment.<\/p>\n
\nLast month, she first wrote on X: “The fact of the matter is, so far every single show of mine has been sold out. Packed from top to bottom!<\/p>\n
\n“They said I wasn\u2019t gonna commit after I gave birth, they said I wasn’t gonna take it seriously, but I take it very seriously.<\/p>\n
\n“I perform for two hours and don\u2019t complain. Not only do I treat my shows like concerts, I treat them like parties and have a good time wit my people that why I get REAL reviews from REAL attendees whether that\u2019s my fans, celebrities, or just people that wanna have a good time. Thank you!! (sic)”<\/p>\n
\nIn a separate social media clip, she expanded on her comments, insisting fans always get their money\u2019s worth.<\/p>\n
\nShe argued: “Every show has been sold out, and one thing that I love the most is that while my tickets [were] on presale, there was a lot of haters [and] devils that kept trying to push this propaganda, like, \u2018She\u2019s not going to be ready.<\/p>\n
\n“‘She just gave birth. She\u2019s been rehearsing for only a month. She been this, she been that,\u2019 but I\u2019m a person [who recognises] the value of a dollar.”<\/p>\n
\nShe added: “I don\u2019t like to play with my money, so I wouldn\u2019t want to play with y\u2019all money.
