Image: Norfolk and Waveney Mind (Image: Norfolk and Waveney Mind)\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Norfolk and Waveney Mind has confirmed that new sessions and support groups are now available following <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lowestoftjournal.co.uk\/news\/25914741.east-suffolk-council-response-trusts-closure-costs-80k\/?ref=ed_direct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">the closure of Lowestoft-based Access Community Trust (ACT) a month ago.<\/a>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <img   width=\"100%\"\/>The Access Community Trust logo. Image: Access Community Trust (Image: Access Community Trust)\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lowestoftjournal.co.uk\/news\/25888072.access-community-trust-closes-suffolk-norfolk-services\/?ref=ed_direct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">trust ceased trading<\/a> on February 25, with 96 staff losing their jobs on payday while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lowestoftjournal.co.uk\/news\/25942962.new-programme-lowestoft-collapse-regional-trust\/?ref=ed_direct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">numerous services have been badly affected.<\/a>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  This included the Steam House caf\u00e9s in Gorleston and King\u2019s Lynn, which provided important local mental health support.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Now, Norfolk and Waveney\u2019s leading mental health support charity is reassuring the community that &#8220;you are not alone, and support remains available&#8221;.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <img   width=\"100%\"\/>Norfolk and Waveney Mind confirms new mental health support following the closure of Access Community Trust. Image: Norfolk and Waveney Mind (Image: Norfolk and Waveney Mind)\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  A Norfolk and Waveney Mind spokesman said: &#8220;In response to the sudden closure and the gaps it has created, we have moved quickly to put additional mental health support in place across the region, ensuring that help is still accessible to those who need it.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  In recent days this has seen senior members of the Mind team meeting and speaking directly with people affected in east Norfolk and Waveney.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <img   width=\"100%\"\/>Norfolk and Waveney Mind confirms new mental health support following the closure of Access Community Trust. Image: Norfolk and Waveney Mind (Image: Norfolk and Waveney Mind)\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  In West Norfolk, anyone who previously accessed the Steam House hub caf\u00e9 in King\u2019s Lynn can now receive face\u2011to\u2011face mental health support at the REST Hub in King\u2019s Lynn on the High Street.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The hub is open Monday to Friday, 9.30am\u20134.30pm, and Saturday 10am\u20132pm, operating on a drop\u2011in basis with no appointment needed.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Norfolk and Waveney Mind has established a full programme of support groups and pop\u2011up mental health drop\u2011ins across <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lowestoftjournal.co.uk\/local-news\/lowestoft-news\/?ref=ed_direct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Lowestoft,<\/a> Great Yarmouth and Gorleston.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <img   width=\"100%\"\/>Norfolk and Waveney Mind confirms new mental health support following the closure of Access Community Trust.
