{"id":348705,"date":"2026-03-26T11:13:09","date_gmt":"2026-03-26T11:13:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/nz\/348705\/"},"modified":"2026-03-26T11:13:09","modified_gmt":"2026-03-26T11:13:09","slug":"nsw-man-rescued-after-three-days-down-bank-following-car-crash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/nz\/348705\/","title":{"rendered":"NSW man rescued after three days down bank following car crash"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"body-paragraph articleLinkText  [&amp;_p]:tit-sub-xl tit-sub-xl md:[&amp;_p]:d-tit-sub-xl md:d-tit-sub-xl mb-[1.3rem]\">A man has been rescued after spending three days stranded down a muddy embankment in rural New South Wales following a serious car crash.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-paragraph articleLinkText  lg mb-4\">The man, believed to be in his 50s, crashed on Renshaw McGirr Way, around 260km northwest of Sydney, on Monday when his car flipped and plunged down a steep bank.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-paragraph articleLinkText  lg mb-4\">Although he was able to get out of the rapidly sinking vehicle, he did not have time to grab his phone to call emergency services.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-paragraph articleLinkText  lg mb-4\">The man was suffering multiple injuries and was unable to climb back up the muddy embankment.
