Season 3 of Jujutsu Kaisen<\/a> has lived up to its hype, thanks to director Sh\u014dta Goshozono\u2019s brilliant storyboarding and Mappa\u2019s impressive creative direction<\/a>. Hot on the heels of the season 3 finale, which is now out on Crunchyroll, season 4 of Jujutsu Kaisen has already been confirmed.<\/p>\n

The Mappa anime\u2019s official X<\/a> (formerly Twitter) handle opened the announcement post by thanking fans for watching the recent finale (simply titled \u201cSendai Colony\u201d), and stated that the \u201cfate of Yuji [Itadori] and his team as they move to resolve the games continues into Season 4.\u201d Although details about this upoming season are scant, those acquainted with Gege Akutami\u2019s acclaimed manga already know about the thrilling arcs to come.<\/p>\n

The \u201cSendai Colony\u201d episode wraps up Yuta Okkotsu\u2019s fights in Kenjaku\u2019s Culling Game<\/a> at this juncture of the story, while setting up a bleak future for jujutsu sorcerers. With Sukuna\u2019s eventual involvement in the game looming over the fate of Japan, Jujutsu Kaisen makes space for the most tense confrontations in season 4. Mappa hasn\u2019t announced an official release date yet, but it is fair to assume that the brand-new season will start airing sometime in 2027.<\/p>\n

Season 4 will play out the culmination and aftermath of the Culling Game arc, drawing new and familiar faces to the forefront of this tense battle shonen. These fights aren\u2019t skin-deep, either. Jujutsu Kaisen grapples with the limitations of strength<\/a> and what it means to wield power in a society that looks down upon the weak. The last leg of the Culling Game also reveals the rot underneath jujutsu society, as well as the inherent unfairness of pushing kids like Yuji to their breaking points.<\/p>\n

For now, fans are left to savor the recently concluded third season (which is easily one of Mappa\u2019s best works) until further details about season 4 emerge.<\/p>\n
