Roger Tuivasa-Sheck will depart the NRL at the end of the year, with the New Zealand Warriors back putting pen to paper on a two-year deal with Wakefield Trinity<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Appearing on his brother\u2019s podcast on Friday morning<\/a>, the 32-year-old was filmed signing his contract with the Super League club, keeping him there until the end of 2028.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt has been a big ass day man,\u201d Tuivasa-Sheck said in the clip.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, I just initialled every page, and now go back to the real deal. Signed by the player.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued: \u201cThat\u2019s it. Done. I just signed a two-year deal with Wakefield Trinity in the Super League. Take my services north, take the family with me, have an adventure, try to win a comp and have a lot of fun man. Let\u2019s see how we go.<\/p>\n

\u201cI appreciate all the support. The show goes on.\u201d<\/p>\n

At Wakefield Trinity, Tuivasa-Sheck will play alongside former NRL players Jazz Tevaga and 2025 premiership winner Tyson Smoothy.<\/p>\n

A veteran of the NRL, Tuivasa-Sheck has racked up 235 appearances in first-grade across two stints over the course of 13 seasons, winning a premiership with the Sydney Roosters. He was also awarded the Dally M Medal in 2018.<\/p>\n

It is understood that he \ufeffgenerated interest from the Sydney Roosters and South Sydney Rabbitohs, while he has also been linked to rugby union, including the R360 competition, having previously represented the Blues and All Blacks in New Zealand. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve had plenty of conversations,\u201d Warriors coach Andrew Webster said of Tuivasa-Sheck\u2019s looming departure earlier this week.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhichever way it goes, whether he stays or wherever he ends up, if he plays union or plays league… if he leaves, he goes with our blessing and if there\u2019s an opportunity for him at the end of the season to stay, we\u2019d celebrate that too.<\/p>\n
