Former \u201cIdol Philippines\u201d contestant Matty Juniosa earned the coveted Golden Buzzer on Britain\u2019s Got Talent.<\/p>\n
The 27-year-old singer received a standing ovation from judges and the audience after performing Prince\u2019s \u201cPurple Rain,\u201d prompting Simon Cowell to press the Golden Buzzer and send him straight to the semifinals.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s like when you discover a new food or restaurant\u2014you want to come back for more,\u201d judge Alesha Dixon said.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was an amazing audition, and I just love you,\u201d Amanda Holden added, while musician-boxer KSI praised Juniosa\u2019s strong stage presence.<\/p>\n
Cowell described the performance as one of the biggest audience reactions the show has seen.<\/p>\n
\u201cTo everyone in this audience, I\u2019m going to say this is your Golden Buzzer as well,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Juniosa, who moved to Glasgow three years ago, works part-time as a waiter. During the audition, he shared his dream of performing for large audiences and pursuing music full-time.<\/p>\n
