Titled \u2018Conversazioni Cromatiche\u2019 (chromatic conversations), the exhibition pays homage to the friendship between the artists\u2019 homelands, Malta and Italy.<\/p>\n<p>Present for the inauguration on March 21 were Haber and Saccone, Sabrina Giuseppetti, president of Municipality XIII of Rome and the Vatican, Daniel Azzopardi, Malta\u2019s ambassador to Italy, and art critic Roberto Litta.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/54ae9a7cef4e61bbc29299b565062d713e047125-1774700613-f8f3c540-1920x1280.jpg\" width=\"630\" height=\"355\" title=\"Artists Paul Haber (left) and Arturo Saccone (right) with Daniel Azzopardi, the Maltese Ambassador to Italy.\" alt=\"Artists Paul Haber (left) and Arturo Saccone (right) with Daniel Azzopardi, the Maltese Ambassador to Italy.\"\/>Artists Paul Haber (left) and Arturo Saccone (right) with Daniel Azzopardi, the Maltese Ambassador to Italy.<\/p>\n<p>Azzopardi praised the initiative, saying art represents \u201ca form of soft power in diplomacy\u201d, bringing the two countries closer together.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn an increasingly complex world, this exhibition stands as yet another example of how we remain on the same page. It is a wonderful celebration,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>In his address, Litta spoke about the artists\u2019 life and careers and noted how sculpture is a particularly demanding art form.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe materials themselves were never intended to express human thought \u2212 yet, artists transform bronze, gold and ceramics into something alive, something meaningful, through extraordinary technical skill and vision.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition runs until April 11 at Aurelia Gallery, Via Aurelia 477, Rome.
