Once again rumors are flying about former actress turned royal, Meghan Markle.<\/p>\n
British writer Tom Bower believes that Meghan had higher aspirations in the royal family than being a mere duchess. During his March 27 interview on the Kinsey Schofield Unfiltered podcast, Tom discussed the Sussexes in great depth. His new book Betrayal: Power, Deceit and the Fight for the Future of the Royal Family, revisits their time inside the monarchy and their eventual exit<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cShe really thought she, rather than\u00a0Kate [Middleton], should be the next queen after\u00a0[the death of King] Charles,\u201d he said. \u201cShe couldn\u2019t understand why, [when] she was better looking, \u2026 more intelligent, harder working, and everything, [she shouldn\u2019t] be the queen. And she hated the idea that she and Harry were relegated so far down the order \u2026 That\u2019s why, of course, she never intended to stay.\u201d<\/p>\n Prince William and Kate Middleton will lead when King Charles dies<\/p>\n In addition, the former BBC journalist claimed that a courtier told Queen Elizabeth, \u201cMegan thinks once she marries into the royal family, she\u2019s going to be God. Which is pretty hilarious, but clearly, she believed it.\u201d<\/p>\n Furthermore, the book claims now-Queen Camilla wasn\u2019t a fan of Meghan\u2019s either. Allegedly, she once told a friend that Meghan had \u201cbrainwashed \u200c[Prince] Harry.\u201d<\/p>\n In the book, the author touches on other royal issues, including ex-Prince Andrew\u2019s unfortunate ties to convicted pedophile<\/a> Jeffrey Epstein. \u201cThe unpredicted and unimagined humiliation of Andrew shocked Harry,\u201d Tom wrote. \u201cRightly, Harry fears that the future King\u00a0William\u00a0could remove all the Sussexes\u2019 titles<\/a> and effectively banish him from Britain<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n Unsurprisingly, the couple wasted no time responding to the claims. \u201c[Bower\u2019s] commentary has long crossed the line from criticism into fixation,\u201d they said in a statement.<\/p>\n \u201cHe publicly stated, \u2018the monarchy in fact depends on actually obliterating the Sussexes from our state of life\u2019,\u201d the couple responded. \u201cHe has made a career out of constructing ever more elaborate theories about people he does not know and has never met.
