Known as the \u2018green flag\u2019 guy on Splitsvilla X6, Ron Kariappa earned praise for his gentlemanly behaviour and chivalry throughout the show. However, his journey on the reality show also saw its share of complications, especially when it came to his connection with Asmita Adhikari. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Ron opened up about whether he would have chosen Soundharya Shetty instead. His experience with both connections, and why things didn\u2019t work out the way he expected. Read on to know what he had to say.<\/p>\n
Ron Kariappa Picks Between Soundharya Shetty And Asmita Adhikari<\/p>\n
Addressing whether he would have chosen Soundharya aka Sandy over Asmita. Ron admitted that while they had differences, there was also mutual respect, saying, \u201cShayad humare beech mein opinions same nahi hogi, show ke dauran woh dikh bhi jaata hai, we fight a lot. We have a lot of clashes, we have a lot of issues. But at the same time, I respected her for the way she was. I respect the fact that when we had one task to do together, she gave it her all, and she was fully supportive in that. This is what my experience is.\u201d<\/p>\n
He added, \u201cNow, if I say this out loud and all of a sudden people want to create a narrative about it, that doesn\u2019t mean my connection with Asmita was fake. It\u2019s just that I realised that there was also another connection that could have happened, which would have been much more beautiful.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ron Reveals If He Would Choose Sandy As His Connection In Splitsvilla X6<\/p>\n
He then made a striking admission about his choice in hindsight, revealing, \u201cMain bolra hu ki pura show karne ke baad, ye sab experience dekhne ke baad. Agar tum mujhse puchoge ki main wapas agar jaake connection change karna padega. Toh who I will choose, then I will choose Soundharya. After seeing all of this, if you ask me to go back and start from the beginning without any memory of this. Of course, I\u2019ll choose Asmita, and of course, the same cycle is going to happen again. These things happened; they were never in my control. That is the whole idea of the show, right? If everything is in my control, then I\u2019m the winner. It makes no sense.\u201d<\/p>\n
At the same time, Ron clarified that acknowledging his bond with Soundharya does not make his connection with Asmita any less real. He explained, \u201cBut if you are asking me if I had a pleasurable experience with Soundharya, I did have a pleasurable experience with Soundharya, and I wanted to voice that out. That doesn\u2019t mean that what I had with Asmita is fake. How does this credibility change when I mention this?\u201d<\/p>\n
He further added that, as much as he enjoyed his task with Sandy, his true connection lay with Asmita only. He said, \u201cYeah, that doesn\u2019t make sense. I\u2019m talking about one bloody task\u2014true, as much as I love that one bloody task, it was just one bloody task. After that, she decided to go with Diptanshu for that, right? I stuck by, I tried to build what I had, I tried to build a world of this. But this was not going to build if the other person who was part of it was not ready to build it, and she was very clear about it.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ron Kariappa On If He Felt Asmita Adhikari Ignored Him On The Show<\/p>\n
Reacting to whether he felt ignored by Asmita during their time together, Ron shared that the inconsistency in her behaviour left him confused. He said, \u201cI felt a sense of ignorance that way from the moment we became a connection on the show itself because on one side I had someone who was telling me that I want to have a genuine connection, I want to really put forward into this. There\u2019s the same girl, by the way, on the second day, saying I will leave the show for this boy, and the same girl, after losing a task, is coming back to me and saying I don\u2019t want to be with you because I want to find someone harder, so I\u2019ll go and find a connection with Dipatanshu.\u201d <\/p>\n
He further revealed, \u201cSo, do you realise that this is one personality I\u2019m dealing with, but these are two very opposite directions it has gone in? This has been my show, this has been my show in a whole. What you all don\u2019t see later on is because I have covered it up; I have taken care of this mess. After doing 40 days, she was still confused.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ron Kariappa\u2019s candid take highlights the complexity of relationships inside Splitsvilla X6.
