Two royals were reportedly concerned about Prince Harry<\/a> and Meghan Markle\u2019s marriage. Author Hugo Vickers claimed in his new book that the late Queen Elizabeth II warned her grandson about taking the big step. She had allegedly advised him not to rush his relationship with the \u201cSuits\u201d alum. However, according to the report, she was not the only one who warned Harry against marrying Markle.<\/p>\n

Prince Harry was warned by late Queen and uncle against Meghan Markle marriage, per royal author<\/p>\n

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle\u2019s<\/a> marriage was allegedly not all fairy tales. According to royal author Hugo Vickers, some royals were reportedly against the idea of the Duke of Sussex marrying his then-fianc\u00e9e within six months of their engagement.<\/p>\n

He claimed in his new book, reported by The Express<\/a>, that the late Queen Elizabeth II advised her grandson to take things slow with the then-actress. \u201cThe Queen herself suggested that Harry should wait a year. He did not take her advice. Instead, as we know, the wedding went ahead just over six months after the couple\u2019s engagement,\u201d Vickers wrote.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the report mentioned another royal who warned Harry against his marriage to Markle. Another royal author, Tom Bower, talked about it in his first book, \u201cRevenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors.\u201d In it, he mentioned Harry\u2019s uncle, Charles Spencer, who is the 9th Earl Spencer and the late Princess Diana\u2019s younger brother.<\/p>\n

As per Bower, the prince\u2019s uncle reportedly also spoke to his younger nephew about reconsidering the wedding. \u201cAt [Prince] William\u2019s request, Spencer weighed in,\u201d the book claimed. Furthermore, the relative allegedly advised Harry about the same factor that his grandmother did. Spencer reportedly warned his nephew not to \u201chaste towards marriage.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHis advice provoked a bitter reaction. \u2018This was going to be really hard,\u2019 Harry would later reflect on establishing Meghan\u2019s place in the family,\u201d Bower seemingly mentioned in the biography.<\/p>\n
