And while the band initially tried to <a href=\"https:\/\/consequence.net\/2026\/01\/red-hot-chili-peppers-distance-themselves-from-new-netflix-documentary\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">distance themselves from the doc<\/a>, Flea seems to have now fully embraced the project. \u201cI\u2019m so grateful it exists, and that more people will know how much he meant and continues to mean to us as a friend and bandmate. It is a beautifully made film and filled my heart right to the top, not without a good dose of lifelong melancholy.
