Reseller News is proud to reveal the finalists for the 2026 Women in ICT Awards, recognising outstanding women across New Zealand\u2019s technology sector.<\/p>\n
In 2026, 137 finalists made the shortlist from a record-breaking haul of 217 nominations, representing 77 organisations across the telco, partner, vendor and distributor landscape. WIICTA has provided a platform to showcase talent and influential figures since launching in 2016. <\/p>\n
This year, WIICTA revamped the DE&I category, giving it modernised refresh and will now be known as Culture and Equity.<\/p>\n
A new category has also been added called Community Impact to recognise individuals who have made a significant and positive impact on the community through initiatives that champion inclusion, cultural respect, and social equity.<\/p>\n
This may include advocacy for underrepresented groups in the industry \u2013 such as M\u0101ori and Pasifika, neurodiverse communities, or those focused on wellbeing- through initiatives or programs that create meaningful and lasting change.<\/p>\n
In 2026, WIICTA will honour the channel across nine categories, spanning Innovation, <\/a>Technical, Entrepreneur, Graduate, <\/a>Rising Star, Shining Star, Achievement, Culture and Equity and Community Impact awards.<\/p>\n From early-stage graduates to experienced industry leaders \u2013 and everyone in-between \u2013 WIICTA recognises inspiring examples of female creativity and ingenuity in equal measure, spanning all job functions and disciplines across all states and territories.
