A man has been charged with murder after two people were found dead at a property in Hamilton yesterday. <\/p>\n
Police were called at around 4pm after the discovery of two bodies at an address on York Street in the city’s east. <\/p>\n
“Later in the evening, an injured man presented himself at hospital, and officers connected the man to the deaths,” Detective Inspector Stephen Ambler.<\/p>\n
A 34-year-old man would appear in the Hamilton District Court tomorrow on two charges of murder. <\/p>\n
“Police would like to reassure the community that this was an isolated incident, and we are not looking for anyone else in relation to the matter,” Ambler said. <\/p>\n
