Set in 1645 during the final years of the Ming Dynasty, players follow Fang Zhiyou, a broken scholar who has lost his memory and sanity following the suicide of his childhood sweetheart. He awakens to find himself trapped in the “Lion Camel Kingdom”, a demonic nightmare born from his own writings and the real-life tragedy of the Yangzhou Massacre.
