\n Measurement and Registration – Toyota Optimist Nationals – New Plymouth YC – April 3, 2026 \u00a9 Billy Preston<\/p>\n


\nRacing for the 2026 Toyota New Zealand Optimist National Championship officially begins Saturday. \n<\/p>\n


\nThe five-day regatta is being hosted by the New Plymouth Yacht Club and will run from Friday, April 3, through Tuesday, April 7, 2026. \n<\/p>\n


\nThe national event brings together youth sailors across three designated fleets to compete in the Tasman Sea off Ocean View Parade. \n<\/p>\n


\nThree fleets will be competing – Open, White, and Green – with competitors from New Zealand, Tahiti and Fiji \n<\/p>\n


\nRacing begins with a Qualifying Series.
