Prince Archie<\/a> completed a rite of passage for a Mountbatten-Windsor<\/a>: learning to ski. Yesterday, Duchess Meghan<\/a> shared a candid, heartwarming video of her little son skiing like a pro on a mountain behind Prince Harry. The duke can be seen checking in on his boy along the way. Meghan, meanwhile, followed close behind the 6-year-old, documenting it all.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy boys. Quick learner, Archie! So proud \u2764\ufe0f,\u201d Meghan wrote in her post caption.<\/p>\n

In the clip, Archie is seen wearing a gray ski suit with a black helmet and gloves, matching his dad.<\/p>\n

Harry and brother Prince William learned to ski at a young age, and for many years took annual ski trips with dad King Charles III (then Prince Charles) and mom Princess Diana<\/a>. (During a 1995 holiday in Switzerland, Diana famously confronted paparazzi to ask them to give them privacy and stop photographing her kids.)<\/p>\n

In his tell-all memoir, Spare, the Duke of Sussex reflects on the \u201cwonderful memories\u201d the family made on those trips, and refers to their favored destination, the Austrian village of Lech, as a \u201csafe haven.\u201d<\/p>\n

The trips made such an impact that Harry seriously considered working as a ski instructor at the Lech am Arlberg resort after graduating from Eton, but his dad told him it was \u201cout of the question,\u201d the prince writes.<\/p>\n

Also in his book, Harry describes his approach to skiing as \u201cwild\u201d as opposed to brother William\u2019s more cautious technique. And per Meghan\u2019s video, Archie inherited his father\u2019s fearless, adventurous side.<\/p>\n
