Spice Girls fans are definitely not getting a 30-year “Wannabe” reunion tour, and it turns out they might not get a documentary either.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Mel’s of the group have been sharing the inside scoop with the former girl group. After Melanie Chisholm confirmed there\u2019s no reunion\u00a0<\/a>happening in March, Mel B is echoing that same energy. \u201cI can tell you it\u2019s not happening,\u201d she told HELLO! Magazine<\/a>. \u201cIf it does, it\u2019ll be a shock to me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Decades later, and with everyone living their own lives, it seems like some members of the group just flat out don’t want to go on tour. \u00a0“You can\u2019t be nagging everyone to go on tour if they don\u2019t want to. I laid that to rest when I turned 50,” she told the outlet.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Even when asked if she\u2019d return if everyone else was in, she kept it just as real, saying, \u201cI honestly don\u2019t know.\u201d Still, the love is there. \u201cI\u2019ve got a lot of respect and love for those girls\u2026 I wouldn\u2019t be sitting here if it wasn\u2019t for me being part of the Spice Girls,” she said. \u201cI can\u2019t even begin to tell you what our bond is\u2026 we\u2019re like family; our umbilical cords are all tied together.”<\/p>\n

Where things get interesting is the idea of a Netflix-style documentary. It\u2019s been floated around, and they’ve talked about it. \u201cI think we\u2019ve all been asked and were all thinking about it at some point,\u201d Mel said. But there\u2019s one thing she said that has raised some eyebrows, \u201cIt has to be done in the right way, and it has to be honest \u2013 and not everybody wants to be honest.\u201d<\/p>\n

Behind the scenes, getting all five, Mel B, Geri Horner, Emma Bunton, Chisholm, and Victoria Beckham<\/a>, on the same page has never been simple. The 2019 tour (without Victoria) still sold out, proving demand isn\u2019t the issue – alignment is.\u00a0<\/p>\n

So while the 30th anniversary moment feels big, the reality is a lot quieter and mysterious. It’s unclear which members are flat out against it – but there are clues.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Beckham has always been honest about her new life. In a Radio Andy Sirius XM interview in October 2025, when they talked about a reunion, she said, “I don\u2019t know if I could.” “I mean, I was never that great,” she added.\u00a0<\/p>\n

And while she said a show at the Sphere in Las Vegas “would be tempting,” she made it clear she would never tour again, saying, “Could I take on a world tour? I can\u2019t. I have a job.”<\/p>\n
