The groom decided three years ago that he wanted to start a family. At that time, he wanted to become a single dad. Chris was already an uncle, and felt as though something was missing in his life \u2013 children of his own.<\/p>\n
On MAFS Australia, Chris said he had two babies on the way<\/a>, by two different women. He had been a donor for a lesbian couple, and he also had a baby on the way himself, through a surrogate. The couple he has been a donor for are close friends, and his surrogate is a woman in Colombia.<\/p>\n via E4<\/p>\n There has been an update in Chris\u2019 surrogacy journey, that was whilst MAFS was filming<\/p>\n There has been an update on both children since. The close friends Chris had been a donor for welcomed a baby girl, in late 2025. She arrived just one day after he married Sam!<\/p>\n \u201cI love her so much and I get really emotional when I talk about her \u2013 it\u2019s happening right now, I\u2019ll try to contain it \u2013 I just love her so much, she\u2019s got me wrapped around her little finger. It\u2019s the best,\u201d Chris said in an interview<\/a>.<\/p>\n However, Chris has shared a tragic update on the second child he had on the way. \u201cUnfortunately whilst I was filming, there was a bit of an issue around my surrogate journey,\u201d Chris told PEDESTRIAN.TV<\/a>. \u201c[We] had a couple of embryos and the surrogate unfortunately lost one of them, so it was a bit of a sad moment.\u201d<\/p>\n This made his journey on the show much more difficult. He added: \u201cThe experiment is so tough in itself.
