\n\tThere\u2019s another superhero team joining \u201cThe Boys<\/a>\u201d universe.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe fifth and final season of the Prime Video series has cast Maitreyi Ramakrishnan<\/a>, Emma Elle Paterson and Dylan Colton as the members of its youth superhero team Teenage Kix. Ely Henry has also joined the cast as a new supe named The Worm.<\/p>\n

\n\tSeason 5 kicks off with two episodes on Wednesday and streams a new episode per week on Prime Video, culminating with the series finale on May 20. \u201cIt\u2019s Homelander\u2019s world, completely subject to his erratic, egomaniacal whims,\u201d the logline teases. \u201cHughie, Mother\u2019s Milk, and Frenchie are imprisoned in a \u2018Freedom Camp.\u2019 Annie struggles to mount a resistance against the overwhelming supe force. Kimiko is nowhere to be found. But when Butcher reappears, ready and willing to use a virus that will wipe all supes off the map, he sets in motion a chain of events that will forever change the world and everyone in it.\u00a0It\u2019s the climax, people. Big stuff\u2019s gonna happen.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe new actors join Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Colby Minifie, Cameron Crovetti, Susan Heyward, Valorie Curry and Daveed Diggs in Season 5.<\/p>\n

\n\tColton plays a Vought hero named Jetstreak, Paterson is Sheline and Ramakrishnan plays Countess Crow. Like the original \u201cThe Boys\u201d comics, Teenage Kix is one of Vought\u2019s other supe teams, composed of teen heroes designed to appeal to a younger demographic.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe Boys\u201d is based on the comic book series by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, who also serve as executive producers, and developed by executive producer and showrunner Eric Kripke. Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Phil Sgriccia, Michaela Starr, Paul Grellong, David Reed, Judalina Neira, Jessica Chou, Gabriel Garcia, Ori Marmur, Ken F. Levin and Jason Netter also serve as executive producers. The show is produced by Sony Pictures Television, Amazon MGM Studios with Kripke Enterprises, Original Film, and Point Grey Pictures.<\/p>\n
