I don\u2019t want to call myself a trendsetter by any stretch of the imagination, but I have been writing about how Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni<\/a> should settle out of court for approximately 14 months<\/a>, so I\u2019m not exactly surprised to hear that the judges presiding over the case want the same thing. On Monday, April 6, Deadline reported that lawyers from each party met with Magistrate Judge Sarah L. Cave<\/a>, who was just circling back, so to speak, on whether these guys wanted to settle yet<\/a>. You may recall that back in February, the parties met in color-coordinated outfits for a court-ordered settlement conference that ended in a deadlock. The April meeting did not go any better. Despite ten of Lively\u2019s 13 claims getting dismissed<\/a>, she doubled down on social media, writing that she brought this case to address the \u201cpervasive RETALIATION\u201d (caps lock hers) she faced in the aftermath of It Ends With Us\u2019s press tour. Of course the parties still could settle ahead of their May court date, but \u2026 will they? Probably not.<\/p>\n
