(Supplied: Carol Yarrow)<br \/>\nPhoto: Supplied: Carol Yarrow\n<\/p>\n<p>More than a one-horse town<\/p>\n<p>Cooladdi is truly outback, a nine-hour drive west of Brisbane.<\/p>\n<p>Despite its two-person population, travellers and a steady flow of graziers from surrounding properties regularly stop by the town&#8217;s Foxtrap Roadhouse.<\/p>\n<p>Whoever takes over will be expected to be a jack-of-all-trades, working as a postie, publican, motelier, restaurateur and shopkeeper.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Today, I did the mail run down to Big Creek, so that&#8217;s about a five-and-a-half-hour drive down there, mainly gravel road,&#8221; Ms Yarrow said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Then just back here this afternoon to help run the shop, and tonight serve beers and food and whatever else is needed.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/4JQHTCF_288685eb029467092b80b407ae3d9cd5_avif.jpeg\" width=\"1050\" height=\"700\" alt=\"The Foxtrap Roadhouse sits in one of the most affordable regions for housing in Australia. (Supplied: Carol Yarrow)<br \/>\nPhoto: Carol Yarrow\n<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Everything you could possibly want&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Charleville Real Estate principal agent Becky Jeisman said Cooladdi was a rare find for buyers.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s just filled with everything you could possibly want and has so much character,&#8221; Ms Jeisman said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s a profitable little enterprise with all of its income streams.
