During the Monday, April 6, episode of The Drew Barrymore Show during a segment called \u201cScared to Wear,\u201d the star, 51, got emotional when talking about her body insecurities after welcoming her two children, Olive, 13, and Frankie, 11.<\/a><\/p>\n During the segment, a viewer had a makeover after struggling with self-image when they lost a lot of weight, and Barrymore said she empathized with where the viewer, Dawn, was coming from.<\/p>\n \u201cThe other day I was walking down the street, and I\u2019ve had two C-Sections, and I\u2019m so wrecked down there,\u201d Barrymore told Dawn while tearing up.<\/p>\n Drew Barrymore gets emotional on her show \u201cI can\u2019t wear a lot of different types of pants,\u201d she continued.\u00a0“But the other day I was walking around, and I had this shorter shirt on, and I couldn\u2019t keep my jacket closed. And I was walking around like \u2018I don\u2019t want anyone to see this,\u2019 \u201c she went on.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd I so get when you have kids, and you have a busy life, and your body changes and you get older, and things just aren\u2019t the same. I totally get it,\u201d Barrymore concluded, adding that viewer Dawn looked \u201cso stunning\u201d in her new look.<\/p>\n Drew Barrymore embraces viewer Dawn as they share body image stories Barrymore is known for keeping it real on her chat show. Just last month, she opened up about menopause<\/a> symptoms, joking that she felt like a \u201cdead fish.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI can\u2019t even start today without being honest because I can\u2019t fake anything,\u201d she began the show. \u201cI am so bloated that I feel like some carp that got brought up to the beach and I\u2019m just that dead fish.\u201d<\/p>\n Co-host Ross Matthews<\/a> asked if Barrymore did anything over the weekend that \u201cpuffed\u201d her up. I\u2019m at 11 months. So I go back down to zero.\u201d<\/p>\n She continued, \u201cAnd ugh, I feel unattractive and I\u2019m so hormonal and nothing makes sense and I\u2019m irritable and I\u2019m bloated and I am emotionally unstable. How are you?\u201d<\/p>\n Will Kopelman and Drew Barrymore with their daughters, Olive and Frankie Barrymore went on to tell Matthews, 46, that she felt \u201ca lot better\u201d having shared how she was feeling, because now \u201cat least you know where I\u2019m at.\u201d<\/p>\n The topic also came up during a 2023 episode of the show when she was joined by Jennifer Aniston<\/a> and Adam Sandler<\/a> and had her first hot flash<\/a>.<\/p>\n “I am so hot, I think I’m having my first perimenopause hot flashes,” she said while quickly taking off her blazer and fanning herself. “For the first time, I think I’m having my first hot flash. Whoa!”<\/p>\n “Oh, I feel so honored,” Aniston, 57, quipped.<\/p>\n \u201cI’m so glad I have this moment documented,” Barrymore added with a laugh.<\/p>\n Barrymore shares her daughters with ex-husband, art consultant Will Kopelman<\/a>.
