Jean Smart has revealed her favorite concert of all time \u2014 and her pick caught her co-star off-guard.<\/p>\n

Smart, 74, and Hannah Einbinder <\/a>sat down for an interview Wednesday with CNN\u2019s Elex Michaelson to promote the fifth season of Hacks, <\/a>and Michaelson ended the segment with rapid-fire questions for the stars of the HBO Max comedy show.<\/p>\n

The interview then quickly descended into chaos when he asked the hilarious duo <\/a>to pick their favorite concert they each have ever attended.<\/p>\n

Smart answered almost immediately with a deadpan expression: \u201cHarry Styles.\u201d<\/p>\n

Einbinder, who had just paused to think about her answer, burst out laughing in shock at Smart\u2019s pick, responding, \u201cReally?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe puts on an amazing show,\u201d Smart said defensively.<\/p>\n

Einbinder, 30, responded, \u201cI just would think that in your entire life…\u201d before Smart interrupted her to say that she does not go to concerts regularly.<\/p>\n

However, she then added that she once saw The Beatles <\/a>perform.<\/p>\n

Michaelson and Einbinder, both incredulous at her confession, jumped in to question Smart and interrupted each other in the process as the Emmy-winning actor<\/a> waited for them to hear her out.<\/p>\n

She explained: \u201cFirst of all, I was 12. I was in the nosebleeds section. I could not see or hear anything.\u201d<\/p>\n

Smart said she was not impressed by the iconic band because they stood still and played their songs while shaking their hair, which she said paled in comparison to Styles, 32, who is known for his energetic performances.<\/p>\n

Einbinder dropped her jaw and laughed as Smart added, \u201cIt\u2019s not like they were running the breadth of the stage and doing all sorts of cool stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n

Michaelson and Einbinder then exclaimed in unison: \u201cJean Smart says Harry Styles is better than the Beatles!\u201d<\/p>\n

As Smart protested the remark, Einbinder screamed, \u201cShe said it!\u201d and pointed to CNN crew members behind the camera, saying, \u201cYou saw it! You saw it! You saw it!\u201d<\/p>\n

Smart yelled back in response, \u201cI said he puts on a better show!\u201d<\/p>\n

Einbinder and Smart\u2019s quick-witted back-and-forth mirrors their iconic dynamic in Hacks, in which Smart plays a veteran comic who is paired up with Einbinder\u2019s jaded joke-writer to revive her career. <\/p>\n
