<\/p>\nThe RSPCA in the UK says a recent photo it posted from the rescue of 250 dogs that were crammed into a home was not AI and highlighted the conditions some animals were living in. <\/p>\n
RSPCA England and Wales posted the photo to Facebook last week, and said it was something they see \u201cfar too often\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere can be many reasons why people end up with far more animals than they can care for, such as mental health conditions, disability, bereavements, and serious financial issues.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese cases are often complex, and the people involved need help and support to get back onto the right path or to access the services they need themselves.\u201d<\/p>\n
It said in this case, 250 poodle-cross dogs were being kept in a home by an \u201cextremely vulnerable, elderly owner\u201d.<\/p>\n
Social media users then took to the comments, and some claimed the image was generated by AI.<\/p>\n

The RSPCA replied to one claim and said \u201cit\u2019s not AI\u201d, \u201cas much as we wish it was\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are being called to more and more multi-animal reports like this. We don\u2019t need to use AI as we have countless stories to share about the animals our frontline teams are helping.\u201d<\/p>\n

The RSPCA then shared more photos of the same rescue, and said situations like these put \u201cimmense strain\u201d on their resources.<\/p>\n
