Kate Middleton’s former aide Natasha Archer reflected on her time at Kensington Palace in a new interview with The Telegraph.<\/p>\n

The admin expert expressed her frustrations with being labeled merely a stylist.<\/p>\n

Archer worked for the Princess of Wales for 15 years and eventually became “an integral part of Kate\u2019s inner circle,” according to People.<\/p>\n

Kate Middleton<\/a>‘s former aide Natasha Archer is opening up about her time at Kensington Palace roughly nine months after her resignation<\/a> this past July. The admin expert, who has long been credited for putting together some of the princess’s most show-stopping looks<\/a>, doesn’t want her legacy to be limited to just fashion.<\/p>\n

“I often get referred to as a stylist, and it\u2019s quite frustrating,\u201d she recently told\u00a0The Telegraph<\/a>. \u201cThere are a lot of other things that came with my role…I\u2019m not a traditional stylist; I\u2019m looking at everything. Even admin support. I feel like it\u2019s a unique talent that I can bring to specific people.”<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the interview, the mom-of-two also called working for the Wales family an “extraordinary privilege,” adding, “I\u2019ve made incredible friendships there and I look back on my memories totally fondly and I just feel really grateful to have had that opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n

Archer began her tenure at Kensington Palace back in 2010, when she was hired as an assistant for both Prince William and Kate. Over the course of 15 years, Archer rose through the ranks to become “an integral part of Kate\u2019s inner circle,” according to People<\/a>, eventually earning the title of senior private executive assistant.<\/p>\n

Archer also nurtured relationships with key British designers like Jenny Packham, a favorite of Kate’s, and cemented the future queen as a sustainability advocate who frequently rewears her outfits. In short, Archer kinda sorta created the so-called “Kate Middleton effect,” which contributes an estimated $1.27 billion a year to the U.K. economy, according to People. That said, when Archer did finally say her goodbyes, she left big shoes to fill. Kate subsequently opted to go it alone<\/a> rather than hire another stylist.<\/p>\n

\u201cKate has always been very involved in choosing her outfits for royal engagements,” a source told People<\/a> at the time, “but now she is so confident, she knows exactly what suits her and what doesn\u2019t.”<\/p>\n
