France\u2019s government is switching to Linux.<\/p>\n

France\u2019s Interministerial Directorate for Digital Affairs (DINUM) has announced<\/a> its \u201cexit from Windows in favor of workstations running on the Linux operating system,\u201d as XDA<\/a> reports. It\u2019s part of a broader shift away from non-European tech \u2014 in January, France\u2019s government also launched its own videoconferencing platform<\/a> to replace Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet.<\/p>\n
