Red Bull has officially confirmed Gianpiero Lambiase’s exit from the team.<\/p>\n
Lambiase joined the Milton Keynes-based squad in 2015, working as Daniil Kvyat’s race engineer.<\/p>\n
The Briton retained his role when Max Verstappen joined shortly after the 2016 campaign, and the two have since formed a historically successful alliance with four titles and over 70 race wins together.<\/p>\n
Lambiase held various titles throughout his stint at Red Bull, with his most recent being Head of Racing towards the end of 2024.<\/p>\n
However, his time with the team will now officially conclude in 2028.<\/p>\n
Until his departure, Red Bull has communicated Lambiase will continue in his role as Verstappen’s engineer.<\/p>\n
In a statement, Red Bull declared: \u201cRed Bull Racing confirms that Gianpiero Lambiase will leave the team in 2028, when his current contract expires.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201c’GP’ is a valued member of the Team, which he joined in 2015.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cUntil his planned departure, ‘GP’ continues in his roles as head of racing and as race engineer to Max Verstappen.\u00a0<\/p>\n
