When OneRoof asked Graham Wall if the property had sold, he could not confirm or deny the sale.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI cannot say a single word about it,\u201d Wall said.<\/p>\n<p>The 1075sqm Brent Hulena-designed property quietly hit the market at the end of last year, but appeared as a New Zealand-wide listing in February, just as the country was gearing up for the return of foreign buyers.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Auckland\u2019s most expensive home, 15 Cremorne Street, in Herne Bay, is also its most popular. Photo \/ Supplied<\/p>\n<p>It was OneRoof\u2019s most viewed Auckland property so far this year, with much of the interest coming from overseas.<\/p>\n<p>The listing photos suggested the average property buyer would need at least half a dozen big Lotto wins to fund a home of this magnitude (the Herberts\u2019 helicopter is parked outside on the lawn in the main marketing picture).<\/p>\n<p>As well as everything you\u2019d expect from a mansion of this size and calibre, the property boasts an infinity pool, an underground wine cellar, a gym with a stunning view, a boat shed, and consented helicopter landings.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Auckland\u2019s most expensive home, 15 Cremorne Street, in Herne Bay, is also its most popular. Photo \/ Supplied<\/p>\n<p>The Herberts bought the property in 2018 for $27.5m, the year\u2019s top price, after Wall sold their Remuera home a couple of months earlier for $26m.<\/p>\n<p>The couple are leaving New Zealand and relocating to Monaco, as their business \u201chorizons have moved to include Europe, particularly around Monaco and in the south of France,\u201d Wall told OneRoof last month.<\/p>\n<p>In late September, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oneroof.co.nz\/news\/has-kiwi-rich-lister-ben-cook-sold-his-auckland-mansion-for-35m-48358\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">rich-lister property developer Ben Cook<\/a> sold his waterfront property on Sentinel Road in Herne Bay for $35m.<\/p>\n<p>Records show the property transferred to Trustee Services Ltd, but Wall confirmed he brokered the deal. Cook had paid $24m for the Fearon Hay-designed property in 2015, in a deal also brokered by Wall Real Estate.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.oneroof.co.nz\/news\/another-house-price-record-rich-lister-kurt-gibbons-sells-his-herne-bay-mansion-47320\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Developer Kurt Gibbons\u2019 waterfront Marine Parade home<\/a>, renovated by Fearon Hay, sold a year ago in a deal brokered by Bayleys agent Edward Pack.
