After teasing it on his recent tour, Cruz Beckham<\/a> has shared the optimistic new single \u2018Waste Your Pain\u2019.<\/p>\n

The singer-songwriter \u2013 son of David and Victoria Beckham<\/a> \u2013 launched his music career last year with the trippy debut double A-side \u2018Optics\u2019 and \u2018Lick The Toad\u2019<\/a>, before following up with the romantic \u2018For Your Love<\/a>\u2019.<\/p>\n

Now, he and his band The Breakers are back with an uplifting new song which sees them tackle themes of self-acceptance and seeking a fresh start.<\/p>\n

Centred around a fast-paced, bright guitar riff, \u2018Waste Your Pain\u2019 has a lighthearted feel throughout and sees Beckham build towards an unapologetic, feel-good chorus.<\/p>\n

\u201cI ain\u2019t gonna waste my pain on you\/ Unless you\u2019re gonna waste your pain on me,\u201d he sings. \u201cI can finally see us moving on\/ Us being free\/ At last.\u201d<\/p>\n

The single is produced by Justin Raisen and Lewis Pesacov (Kim Gordon<\/a>, Charli XCX<\/a>), and also comes with a free-spirited music video inspired by the 1983 film Risky Business.<\/p>\n

Beckham first teased \u2018Waste Your Pain\u2019 earlier this year when he used it to open the shows on his debut headline tour around the UK, which wrapped last month with three nights at London\u2019s Courtyard Theatre.<\/p>\n

The tour also got some talking as the souvenir tickets for his show in Cardiff incorrectly claimed that the city is in England<\/a>, not Wales.<\/p>\n

Later this year, Beckham will kick off his first US headline tour, and is also set to perform at major festivals including Reading & Leeds<\/a>, Rock N Roll Circus<\/a>, Lollapalooza<\/a>, Outside Lands, and Shaky Knees. Visit here<\/a> for remaining tickets.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m so excited to get out on the road, I\u2019ve always been inspired by bands who do it the right way, so I wanna get out there and play loads of small gigs,\u201d the singer shared last year. \u201cI cannot wait to meet the fans and for them to hear the tracks, I can\u2019t believe people have actually spent their hard-earned money to come and see me and my band, so we\u2019re gonna put on a show!\u201d<\/p>\n
