New Zealand\u2019s men\u2019s and women\u2019s national futsal teams have had mixed results overnight at their international tournament in China.<\/p>\n

The Futsal Ferns drew 1-1 in the second of their three-match series against hosts China, thanks to a goal from Jamie Evans early in the second half\u00a0at Lingwu Stadium, Yinchuan.<\/p>\n

The result means New Zealand can win the CFA International Women\u2019s Futsal Challenge with a draw or better in the final game on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The Futsal Ferns are #31 in the FIFA women\u2019s world rankings, while China are #15.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Futsal Whites lost their second game at the CFA International Men\u2019s Futsal Challenge tournament at the same venue, losing 8-1 to the Netherlands after trailing 6-1 at half-time.<\/p>\n

The Netherlands are rated #29 in the world rankings, while the Futsal Whites are #41.<\/p>\n

The Futsal Whites still have games against China (Saturday) and the Netherlands (Monday).<\/p>\n
