Petra Shawarma in Kingsland, or if you\u2019re feeling a little fancy check out Gemmayze St, in St Kevin\u2019s Arcade. And I know you said dinner, but I just have to quickly mention the Lebanese Grocer for lunch is 10000000\/10.<\/p>\n

The place to take a visitor?<\/p>\n

Maybe Mt Eden at dusk? Motat? I don\u2019t know, I\u2019m a bad tour guide.<\/p>\n

Spot to finish a night out?<\/p>\n

The driving range at JK\u2019s World of Golf in M\u0101ngere, drive safe.<\/p>\n

Best coffee?<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t drink coffee, but my favourite hot chocolate\u202fis from Mibo.<\/p>\n

Fish-and-chip shop?<\/p>\n

The Chip Shop by the Royal Oak roundabout. There aren\u2019t\u202fany beaches\u202fnearby so you\u2019ll probably have to eat it in a carpark, but it\u2019s worth it. Also grab an ice cream from Ollies afterwards, just across the road.<\/p>\n

Hiking trail?<\/p>\n

My friend Poelman takes me on one every year up near his place in Matakana. I have no idea what it\u2019s called or how to get there, I just follow him.<\/p>\n

Venue for a gig?<\/p>\n

I prefer outdoor gigs, but I don\u2019t actually have a place in mind. Wait, I just went and asked my friend who knows more about this stuff than me and he said Big Fan (in Morningside) is becoming pretty cool.<\/p>\n

Place to find a bargain?<\/p>\n
