The star was joined on the sofa alongside Keanu Reeves, 61, Matt Bomer, 48, and Jonah Hill, 42, as the quartet promoted their new black comedy film, Outcome, which follows damaged star Reef (Keanu) apologising for his past after being blackmailed with outrageous video footage.<\/p>\n
And Cameron \u2013 who plays Kyle, Reef\u2019s longtime pal \u2013 said the movie explores the darker side of celebrity life.<\/p>\n
The award-winning star explained to People: \u201cI also think that this movie shows [fame] in a very interesting light and a very heightened light. Everybody thinks they want to be famous, but there is a cost to it. So it\u2019s a cautionary comedy.\u201d<\/p>\n
Cameron relished working with Keanu again in the Jonah-directed Outcome \u2013 30 years after they starred in the 1996 comedy-romance flick, Feeling Minnesota.<\/p>\n
She said at this week\u2019s premiere of the Apple TV movie: \u201cWhen we worked together 30 years ago, it was like my fourth film. I was very green. <\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m embarrassed \u2013 the poor guy had to act with this young novice actor who was just starting out.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was happier to get the opportunity to work with him again now, after a little more experience.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve seen each other over the years, always happy to see one another.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s always been who he is now, just has always been the loveliest human.\u201d<\/p>\n
Jonah, meanwhile, recently claimed Cameron \u201cgives the best performance of her career\u201d in Outcome \u2013 which sees the director play Reef\u2019s crisis lawyer Ira Slitz, and Matt Bomer portray Reef\u2019s second longtime friend, Xander.<\/p>\n
Jonah told Extra: \u201cCameron is an actual angel that fell from heaven, and she is not only, like, an iconic classic movie star. When she came on the screen for her camera test or something, we\u2019re all back there like, \u2018Whoa, we\u2019re making a real movie.\u2019<\/p>\n
