Honor <\/a>recently dropped teasers, hinting at a N-series phone from their stable that will also have a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and a bright orange colourway. In a briefing, they officially took the wraps off their new Honor 600 series that consists of the Honor 600 and the Honor 600 Pro. Ahead of its official launch, we managed to get a sample for review and it\u2019s certainly an interesting device indeed. Here\u2019s our Honor 600 Pro<\/a> first look and unboxing where we share our first impressions of their latest device.<\/p>\n

In the official literature, Honor has stated that their N-series phones<\/a> which were primarily devices with midrange specifications will now be officially designated as a flagship series with equally top-shelf hardware with the teaser stating that it will sport a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset <\/a>though which one exactly hasn\u2019t been officially mentioned yet.<\/p>\n

Honor 600 Pro First Look and Unboxing \u2013 Build and Design<\/p>\n

Our Honor 600 Pro first look sample pays unabashed homage to something that was recently issued from Cupertino down to its raised, rectangular rear camera housing. Rather than being an integrated part of the chassis, Honor has instead opted to use a clear slab of polycarbonate to emulate the look though it does the job of protecting the rear triple camera array.<\/p>\n

While we haven\u2019t yet delved into its exact specifications yet, Honor has stated that the Honor 600 Pro has a 200MP Super Sensing Camera with a quoted CIPA 6.5 image stabilisation rating which is among the highest in its class. The camera is also claimed to be able to offer up to 120x digital zoom via their AI Super Zoom 2.0 tech and the phone will also integrate the same Night Engine algorithm as the flagship Honor Magic8 Pro along with a tuned-up AI Color Engine for more accurate colour rendition.<\/p>\n

Camera aside, the backplate of our Honor 600 Pro first look sample sports an eye-catching neon orange finish completed by metallic orange trim on its sides. According to Honor, the Honor 600 series, including the Honor 600 Pro utilise what they refer to as a Cold-Carving process that creates an 0.5mm thin yet durable back panel that increases bend-resistance by 200%.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The base sports a USB-C port, a SIM card tray and a speaker grille. Of particular interest is its right side that has a dedicated AI shortcut button alongside a power button and volume rocker.\u00a0 Bar several antenna bands, the top and left side of the phone are otherwise unremarkable.<\/p>\n

Up front, our Honor 600 Pro first look sample has remarkably thin bezels on all sides that measure just 0.85mm though exact specifications as to the screen\u2019s type, resolution and refresh rate aren\u2019t available yet.<\/p>\n
