The Xiaomi Redmi K90 series is getting a new gaming-centric model: the Redmi K90 Max<\/a>. The company has now revealed the release date for the device. <\/p>\n

The Redmi K90 Max is scheduled to launch on April 21 at 7 PM local time in China. Moreover, pre-orders for the device are now open on various Chinese e-commerce platforms. <\/p>\n

The company has revealed that the device will feature a\u00a06.83-inch screen with a 165Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,500 nits. Another key highlight of the Redmi K90 Max is its active cooling fan. The company claims the 18.1mm fan can help reduce the device’s temperature by 10\u00b0C within 100 seconds of sustained gaming. <\/p>\n

Notably, the K90 Max also carries IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings<\/a> for dust and water resistance. The device<\/a> features an aluminum alloy frame and has so far been shown in a ‘Space Silver’ color option. Teaser images also confirm a dual rear camera setup.
