The Strokes<\/a> will launch a tour of North America in June, before heading to Japan, back for some West Coast U.S. dates and festivals, and finally to Europe for an arena tour. Supporting the shows are combinations of Thundercat<\/a>, the Walkmen<\/a>\u2019s Hamilton Leithauser<\/a>, Cage the Elephant<\/a>, \u00d6l\u00fcm, and, in Europe, Alex Cameron<\/a> and Fat White Family<\/a>. The tour comes off the back of a flurry of Strokes activity including the announcement of a new, Rick Rubin-produced album\u2014Reality Awaits<\/a>, the follow-up to 2020\u2019s The New Abnormal<\/a>\u2014a single called \u201cGoing Shopping<\/a>,\u201d and, on Saturday night, their return to Coachella.
