Rose claimed she had photographs to corroborate her claims and added that numerous people witnessed the alleged assault.<\/p>\n
While Rose did not pinpoint the exact date of the alleged assault, she acknowledged it occurred more than a decade ago, with many news outlets placing Perry and Rose socialising together and attending the popular Melbourne club Spice Market back in August 2010.<\/p>\n
The star said she had initially chosen to make a joke about the alleged incident before she decided to speak out about it, claiming: \u201cAfter it I threw up on her. I told the story publicly but changed it to be a \u2018funny drunk story\u2019 because I didn\u2019t know how else to handle it.\u201d<\/p>\n
She went on to allege that she kept it private because of Perry helping her obtain a US visa.<\/p>\n
\u201cLater she agreed to help me get my US visa. So I kept it a secret,\u201d Rose continued.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut I did tell ya\u2019ll she wasn\u2019t a good persona. Instead I got attacked by everyone.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe psychological manipulation was strong with that one.\u201d<\/p>\n
In 2013, Rose starred in the breakout Netflix series Orange is the New Black.<\/p>\n

Rose, who was born in Melbourne, added that she would welcome a lawsuit if Perry took her to court.<\/p>\n
Fans highlighted the pair\u2019s frayed history, recalling a 2017 social media storm where Rose was accused of hammering Perry over her song Swish Swish, which was believed to have been written about Taylor Swift.<\/p>\n
At the time, Rose wrote online that the song was a \u201csloppy mess of writing\u201d and that \u201cto go from rebranding as a political activist only to ditch it and go low .. is .. a bummer\u201d.<\/p>\n
The Aussie was hounded by trolls online and later backtracked, stating on X that her behaviour: \u201cClearly comes from being bullied in school and wanting to stick up for the underdogs.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not the first time Perry has faced an allegation of misconduct, with model Josh Kloss claiming in 2018 that Katy had exposed his genitals during a party.<\/p>\n
Kloss had appeared in her music video for her 2010 song Teenage Dream before the incident allegedly occurred.<\/p>\n

Perry was seen asking him for a kiss on the cheek, but turned her head so he kissed her on the mouth.<\/p>\n
When asked by her co-judge Luke Bryan if she had got him, Perry replied: \u201cYeah I got him.\u201d<\/p>\n
Glaze later said that he \u201cdid not think\u201d he was sexually harassed by Perry, stating: \u201cI was uncomfortable in a sense of how I have never been kissed before and was not expecting it.<\/p>\n
\u201cWould I have done it if she said, \u2018Would you kiss me? No, I would have said no,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was uncomfortable immediately. I wanted my first kiss to be special.\u201d<\/p>\n
In 2019, TV host Tina Kandelaki also made an allegation against Perry, claiming that she had \u201ctouched her inappropriately\u201d.<\/p>\n
In 2020, Perry said of the allegations: \u201cI think we live in a world where anyone can say anything.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t want to say \u2018guilty until proven innocent\u2019 but there\u2019s no checks and balances: A headline just flies, right?<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd there\u2019s no investigation of what it is. I don\u2019t want to add to the noise. I want to add to the truth, basically.\u201d<\/p>\n
When asked whether the allegations were true, she replied: \u201cI don\u2019t comment on all the things that are said about me because if I chase that dragon, it would be about true and false-ing my whole life. It\u2019s distracting from the real movement.\u201d<\/p>\n
The latest allegations come as Perry and her boyfriend, former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, were seen attending the popular Coachella music festival in Indio, California.<\/p>\n
The pair were seen getting cosy, with one snap showing the pair from behind walking through the festival grounds hand in hand.<\/p>\n
In another picture, the couple is seen sitting and snacking in between sets, with Trudeau eating a cup of fried soba noodles as they both hold onto red plastic cups.<\/p>\n
Perry also took a selfie video of the two of them as they danced along to Justin Bieber from in front of the barricade.<\/p>\n
The pair\u2019s high-profile relationship was confirmed back in December, after she and Trudeau became \u201cInstagram official\u201d.<\/p>\n
