There are concerns that star half Mitch Moses could become \u201cunsettled\u201d at the Eels amid the club\u2019s early season struggles. <\/p>\n

For the second time this season, the Eels conceded at least 50 points over the weekend when they were thrashed by a Titans side who had just one win entering the game.<\/p>\n

It leaves the Eels in second last on the table, only ahead of the winless Dragons.<\/p>\n

Moses\u2019 frustration was evident in the loss to the Tigers the week prior as well as at times during the Titans\u2019 game.<\/p>\n

He didn\u2019t make any excuses afterwards, telling reporters he didn\u2019t \u201chave many answers\u201d.<\/p>\n

The Eels\u2019 poor start sparked NRL360 host Braith Anasta to ask the panel on Monday night whether there was a chance Moses could become unsettled at the club.<\/p>\n

For what it\u2019s worth, Moses is under contract until the end of the 2029 season with the controversial ratchet clauses taken out of his deal. <\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s certainly entitled to be. He\u2019s done everything in the game except win a premiership and based on what we\u2019ve seen this year, I can\u2019t see the Eels winning a premiership in the next few years,\u201d The Daily Telegraph\u2019s Dean Ritchie replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s no suggestion at all that he\u2019s unsettled, it\u2019s just more of he seems a bit on unsettled on the field.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMitch is one of the great halves of this generation and the way it\u2019s going, there\u2019s a chance he finishes his career not winning a title,\u201d veteran journalist Brent Read added.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe has time on his side but he\u2019s 29. He\u2019s going to have to get a wriggle on.\u201d<\/p>\n

In their defence, the Eels have had a tough schedule to open the season as well as a horror injury toll to try and overcome.<\/p>\n

Two players are set to miss the rest of the year (J\u2019maine Hopgood, Bailey Simonsson) while stars like Isaiah Iongi and Jonah Pezet in key positions will be sidelined between four to eight weeks. <\/p>\n

For those reasons, Anasta defended the Eels\u2019 2-4 start and believing coach Jason Ryles will be able to turn things around. <\/p>\n

\u201cI think within 12-18 months they\u2019ll be where they want to be. I wouldn\u2019t be giving up on them right now,\u201d Anasta said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think Rylesy is a great coach and I still have promise for them.
