Lipa previously opened up about her sense of style and insisted she never wants to \u201cput myself in a box\u201d when it comes to fashion because she loves trying new things.<\/p>\n
She told Refinery 29: \u201cEveryone is allowed to wear whatever the f*** they want, and it\u2019s so important that they do.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is the way we move forward in the world. We have to break the norms. If women wearing womenswear is deemed normal, women wearing menswear should be normal, too.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut normality is a tricky one. It\u2019s putting things in a box, and it shouldn\u2019t be like that. Because what is normal, anyway?\u201d<\/p>\n
She added: \u201cI\u2019ve never really wanted to put myself in a box and say, \u2018this is my style and these are my style staples\u2019. I love to experiment and play around.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s kind of like music: the sound doesn\u2019t just include the face of the artist. And the artist should wear the clothes, not the other way around. Fashion can\u2019t be forced.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, Dua admitted she often struggled with photoshoots because the sample-sized clothing wouldn\u2019t fit her.<\/p>\n
She said: \u201cMore often than not, I\u2019m not sample size. So, sometimes when you go to a shoot and you don\u2019t fit in the clothes, you\u2019re like, \u2018damn it\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut you can\u2019t really let it get to you. It\u2019s ridiculous to think everyone will fit into those sizes, really.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd if it doesn\u2019t work for you, you just have to learn to get up and try something different and make it work for you so you feel comfortable. There\u2019ve definitely been things that I\u2019ve loved from the runway but then tried on myself and realised it wasn\u2019t going to work on me.<\/p>\n
