The fourth and final season of the beloved fantasy-drama The Way Home premieres next week \u2013 and longtime fans are not ready to say goodbye.<\/p>\n
The Hallmark series, which airs locally on BINGE<\/a> with Season 4 debuting on April 21, stars Hollywood favourite Andie MacDowell and follows three generations of Landry women \u2013 Del (MacDowell), her estranged daughter Kat (Chyler Leigh) and granddaughter Alice (Sadie Laflamme-Snow) \u2013 who reunite on a fictional farm in Port Haven, Canada, and discover a magical pond that enables them to time travel.<\/p>\n Through their time travels, the Landry women experience love and loss through all the twists and turns, and its these heartbreaking and heartwarming storylines that have attracted legions of fans from across the globe.<\/p>\n \u201cI did not need another exercise in handling grief and loss,\u201d read one comment from a reddit forum<\/a>. \u201cIt was a healing show for me and a great distraction. We had four wonderful seasons! I\u2019m looking forward to watching the fourth season with all of you!\u201d<\/p>\n Thanks to her roles on films such as Groundhog Day, Four Weddings and a Funeral and Green Card, MacDowell was already an established star when she took on the role of matriarch Del in the series. yet she never thought she\u2019d still be working on projects she loves in an industry where age matters.<\/p>\n \u201cI get so excited when I\u2019m walking onto set,\u201d she told People<\/a> magazine last year. \u201cIt\u2019s nice at my age and after all this time to have that feeling of joy.
