\n\tParamount on Thursday at CinemaCon<\/a> unveiled the first footage from Heart of the Beast<\/a>, its action-adventure film reuniting Brad Pitt<\/a> with director David Ayer<\/a>, on which we were\u00a0first to report<\/a>\u00a0last March.<\/p>\n

\n\tHeart of the Beast centers on a former Army Special Forces soldier (Pitt) and his retired combat dog who battle for survival after a plane crash deep in the unforgiving Alaskan wilderness.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe footage shown in Las Vegas sees Pitt\u2019s soldier fending off bears, wolves and more on \u201cone last mission\u201d for survival alongside his loyal dog companion.<\/p>\n

\n\tParamount confirmed today that the film will release this fall, though no release date was disclosed.<\/p>\n

\n\tWritten by Cameron Alexander, who exec produced, Heart of the Beast also stars J.K. Simmons and Anna Lambe and is produced by Olivia Hamilton, Marty Bowen, Ayer, and Pitt. Exec producers included Damien Chazelle, Scott Lumpkin, Alexander, Chris Long, Pete Chiappetta, Anthony Tittanegro, Andrew Lary, Sophie Cassidy, and Zack Conroy.<\/p>\n
