Married At First Side <\/a>bride Alissa Fay has addressed a major issue that happened on the final episode of the reality TV show. <\/a><\/p>\n

Fans were bitterly disappointed<\/a> and confused when Alissa and David Momoh didn’t have their time in front of the experts<\/a> to look back on the season and clear up any issues.<\/p>\n

Some said it “totally ruined” their night after the pair wasn’t included.<\/p>\n

But the 33-year-old from Adelaide told Abbie Chatfield that they did, in fact, have their turn in front of Mel Schilling<\/a>, John Aiken, and Alessandra Rampolla<\/a>, but Channel 9<\/a> never aired it.<\/p>\n

“We had a conversation together in with the experts, and then they did our flashback as well, and we just never made the cut,” she said.<\/p>\n

Abbie was one of many people who couldn’t believe Alissa and David were left out of the final episode.<\/p>\n

Viewers got to see Stephanie and Tyson, Stella and Filip, Bec by herself without Danny, Gia and Scott, and Rachel and Steven look back on their relationships.<\/p>\n

The couples also copped some harsh truths from the experts about what they could have done better during the experiment.<\/p>\n

But social media erupted when Monday’s episode ended without Alissa and David having their time to shine.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhere the hell was Alissa and David\u2019s couch session? Isn\u2019t their conclusion more important than Tyson and [Stephanie’s]?\u201d one asked on Reddit.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat the heck? I stayed for these people? I wanted Alissa to be called out,” another admitted.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy wasn\u2019t Alissa and David on the couch? Totally ruined the night,” a third added.<\/p>\n

What happened on Alissa and David’s final couch session?<\/p>\n

Alissa explained on Abbie’s It’s A Lot podcast that while viewers never got closure on their failed relationship, she and David were able to work out their issues.<\/p>\n

“I sat on that couch and I took accountability for all the things, you know? Yes, I could’ve done this better, yes, I could’ve done that better,” she said.<\/p>\n

“Looking back, we had so many beautiful moments and memories. I’m so proud of our journey and how we handled ourselves.”<\/p>\n

She added that they hugged at the end of the session and she was able to see why David was so upset as the experiment ended.<\/p>\n

“There was so much to be happy about and.. yeah it’s a bit rough. I don’t understand why it didn’t make the cut but.. you guys will never get the closure,” she said.<\/p>\n

“I feel like there’s been so much context throughout this series, because it was all related around the Gia and Bec saga.<\/p>\n

“And there were a lot of key moments in, not just my relationship, but other relationships, that were missed.”<\/p>\n
