Survivor<\/a> 50 has been wild! The new twists have kept both players and viewers on edge. From the Blood Moon triple tribal to shifting alliances, these players have been tested. And recently, for the first time ever, a team of two was sent home at tribal.<\/p>\n

Of course, the season is not without controversy. Allegations of pre-gaming<\/a> ahead of filming have tainted the season. However, in a cast filled with pre-existing relationships, talking ahead of the game isn\u2019t completely unexpected. Now, one of the players whose torch was recently snuffed is speaking out about alliances and pre-gaming.<\/p>\n

Benjamin \u201cCoach\u201d Wade voted for himself in 2024<\/p>\n

During Survivor Season 50 Episode 8, Benjamin \u201cCoach\u201d Wade<\/a> and his teammate, Chrissy Hofbeck<\/a>, were voted out and joined the jury. This season, Coach, also known as the Dragon Slayer, was in an alliance with Chrissy, Joe Hunter<\/a>, Jonathan Young, and Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick. This group, dubbed the \u201cMAGA alliance\u201d and the \u201cZoom Alliance,\u201d was accused of strategizing in a phone call ahead of filming.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s funny,\u201d Coach told Page Six<\/a>. \u201cI mean, people are always gonna grasp at straws.\u201d Then the Dragon Slayer shared who he voted for in the 2024 Presidential election. \u201cI wrote in my name in the last election,\u201d Coach stated. \u201cI put Coach Ben Wade and checked the box for myself.\u201d He added, \u201cDo I think [Donald] Trump\u2019s<\/a> doing a great job with our country? Hell no.\u201d <\/p>\n

Then, the haiku enthusiast talked about pre-gaming in Season 50. \u201cIn a returning player season, is there going to be talk pregame<\/a>? Well, of course there is,\u201d he explained. <\/p>\n

According to Coach, he tried to \u201cminimize\u201d his pre-game discussions. \u201cYou don\u2019t want to screw yourself by going out there and not having talked to anybody,\u201d Coach stated. \u201cI don\u2019t do [Survivor] events, so I\u2019m not connected with people out there. So for me to feel a level of comfortability in talking to some people before the game, that\u2019s great.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, if you would like a nickname<\/a> bestowed by the Dragon Slayer himself, you can purchase one for $200. However, Coach has limited this offer to 200 Survivor fans.<\/p>\n
