The braided nylon jacket doesn\u2019t just provide a premium fabric feel, it makes the cable sturdy enough to survive being pinched in a desk drawer. Traditional cables with plastic casings are prone to nicking and tearing when caught, but not this one.<\/p>\n

On top of that, it\u2019s not short with six feet of length to work with \u2014 so it easily reaches my surge protector. The cables that come with most phones are often half that length, which requires having a charger very close by.
