Tonight\u2019s draw comes after a New Plymouth Lotto player walked away with a staggering prize<\/a> on Wednesday, made up of $14m from Powerball First Division and $333,333 from Lotto First Division.<\/p>\n

The winning ticket was sold on MyLotto to the lucky Taranaki player.<\/p>\n

They were the ninth Powerball multi-millionaire this year, and the win came just over two weeks after two Auckland players split a huge $25 million jackpot, each taking home $12.75m. <\/p>\n

What to do if you win<\/p>\n

Ticket holders can see immediately if they have won<\/a> if they purchased a ticket through MyLotto. Prizes of $1000 or less are automatically credited to the account.<\/p>\n

For prizes exceeding $1000, winners must complete an online prize claim form.<\/p>\n

Winners with physical tickets must still visit a Lotto retailer to claim their prize.<\/p>\n

For the Powerball jackpot to be claimed, a ticket holder must get all six Lotto numbers correct as well as the added Powerball number.<\/p>\n
