The post, from an X (formerly Twitter)<\/a> user, reads: “Said it before, saying it again, they’re retroactively going to turn the metal clanking sounds from the making of the Mark 1 suit at the end of Endgame into the forging of Doom’s mask.”<\/p>\n Paramount<\/p>\n Related: UK film release dates<\/a><\/p>\n For those who don’t remember, the final shot of Endgame is Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter dancing before cutting to credits.<\/p>\n There isn’t a post-credits scene, but as the final logo and text card play out, the metal clanking sounds from the very first Iron Man are played out over the top.<\/p>\n With Endgame being such a tightly-packed film, and the comments about when Doomsday begins, it does seem plausible that an actual ending scene could be added on after the credits.<\/p>\n And if that fan theory is true, we might see Robert Downey Jr’s new character Doctor Doom<\/a> forging his mask, with the same sound effects from Iron Man creating a dark inverse of his previous role.<\/p>\n Marvel Studios<\/p>\n Related: Chris Evans breaks silence on Avengers: Doomsday return as “amazing” trailer debuts<\/a> <\/p>\n Avengers: Endgame was previously re-released with some additional scenes after the credits<\/a>, in a (failed) attempt to dethrone Avatar as the biggest film of all time.<\/p>\n However, fans were ‘treated’ to some deleted scenes featuring incomplete CGI renders of the Hulk, a teaser for Spider-Man: Far From Home, and a genuinely touching tribute to Stan Lee.<\/p>\n All four Avengers movies are streaming on Disney+<\/a>.
