The former <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/college-football\/team\/_\/id\/228\/clemson-tigers\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Clemson<\/a> standout has two years remaining on his contract but no guaranteed money left. He has 30.5 sacks and 40 tackles for loss in 109 career games but is coming off a season with career lows in sacks (0.5) and tackles (33).<\/p>\n<p>The move is a rare one for Cincinnati. In free agency, Cincinnati signed former <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nfl\/team\/_\/name\/sea\/seattle-seahawks\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Seattle Seahawks<\/a> edge rusher <a data-player-guid=\"ef3adbfc-5e42-09ef-1cd0-962697392941\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4240754\/boye-mafe\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Boye Mafe<\/a> to a three-year, $60 million deal and added former <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"3db556c9-ed76-a7a5-4ccb-a92fc6db4334\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nfl\/team\/_\/name\/min\/minnesota-vikings\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Minnesota Vikings<\/a> defensive lineman <a data-player-guid=\"2ae24478-555a-120e-32f7-8408a43a24d6\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/3054840\/jonathan-allen\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jonathan Allen<\/a> on a two-year, $25 million deal.<\/p>\n<p>Aside from those additions and the signing of former <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com.au\/nfl\/team\/_\/name\/kc\/kansas-city-chiefs\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kansas City Chiefs<\/a> safety <a data-player-guid=\"62f61d0e-06f5-7c9a-a8cf-5d927ee039bb\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4247726\/bryan-cook\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bryan Cook<\/a> (three years, $40.25 million), Cincinnati had a relatively quiet offseason. But Lawrence&#8217;s acquisition significantly changes the tenor of the Bengals&#8217; moves.
