The fitness pro is known for sharing quick and easy fitness hacks with her followers, from simple moves to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prevention.com\/fitness\/a70201539\/denise-austin-tone-arms-instagram-video\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:tone arms;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\">tone arms<\/a> to her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prevention.com\/fitness\/a60175901\/denise-austin-how-to-stay-fit-live-healthy-lifestyle-instagram-photo\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:key to staying fit;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\">key to staying fit<\/a>. Most recently, the 69-year-old took to Instagram to share a Pilates-inspired workout for core strength.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese 3 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prevention.com\/fitness\/workouts\/a69809014\/denise-austin-pilates-moves-strong-instagram-video\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Pilates moves;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\">Pilates moves<\/a> are wonderful for strengthening your entire core\u2026really working ALL those abdominal muscles from every angle,\u201d Austin captioned her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DXAT69Jku0O\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Instagram post;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\">Instagram post<\/a>. \u201cI love Pilates because it helps you feel strong, centered, and supported from the inside out. Just a few focused moves like these can help <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prevention.com\/health\/a42508467\/improve-your-posture\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:improve your posture;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\">improve your posture<\/a>, balance, and overall strength.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If you want to try the workout at home, we\u2019ve got the details on each move below. All you need is a yoga mat, no props required.<\/p>\n<p>Single side leg lift<\/p>\n<p>Austin begins in a modified side plank position, with the knee of her bottom leg resting on the mat. \u201cHold your legs strong and straight\u2026Point your toe, reach straight out,\u201d she demonstrates, lifting her top outstretched leg off the mat and lowering it back down with control. \u201cYou\u2019re working the entire abdominals, the core muscles, plus your legs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Austin recommends doing 10 reps on each leg.<\/p>\n<p>Side crunches<\/p>\n<p>Continuing from the same modified side plank position, Austin reaches her top arm overhead before bending her elbow and top knee toward each other simultaneously, then returning to the stretched out position. \u201cPull your belly button in and really breathe, inhale and exhale,\u201d she explains.<\/p>\n<p>Again, Austin suggests 10 crunches on each side.<\/p>\n<p>Double leg stretch<\/p>\n<p>Repositioning herself to lie on her back, Austin finishes the routine with a classic Pilates move, the double leg stretch. She curls up into a ball, lifting her head, neck, and shoulders while curling her knees toward her chest.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTuck it in and reach it out,\u201d she demonstrates, stretching her arms and legs out straight at a 45-degree angle while keeping her head, neck, and shoulders lifted before circling her arms around to catch her knees again. \u201cTone and tighten up through the abs,\u201d she explains. \u201cDo 10 of these.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As a Pilates lover myself, I can\u2019t wait to incorporate these moves into my routine.
