As far as NRL Fantasy was concerned we saw not just one but two players break the 100-point milestone with two others falling just short all in the same week.<\/p>\n

An important but costly third consecutive win for Manly in the opening game of the round on Thursday. Tolutau\u00a0Koula (61) made the most of his shift to the back after \u201cTurbo\u201d left the game 12 minutes in. Koula will appear in the top trade in targets this week without any doubt.\u00a0Taniela Paseka\u00a0(60) had\u00a0a huge game including a barnstorming try and\u00a0Jamal Fogarty\u00a0(73) dominated in his best outing for the maroon and white.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Taking the game to Darwin, the golden point nailbiter closed out Friday night football with Panthers stealing the win, however all Fantasy eyes were on Herbie Farnworth\u00a0(109) as he became the first of two to crack the century in 2026. Hamison\u00a0Tabuai-Fidow\u00a0(75) had an up game and is scoring brilliantly for Fantasy but only a consideration in draft formats until Origin is over. Utility Max Plath (62) also took to the humid conditions and one to consider\u00a0as a HOK back-up especially due to the fact\u00a0the Dolphins hold the top bye round schedule during\u00a0the\u00a0Origin period.\u00a0Kulikefu\u00a0Finefeuiaki\u00a0(66) took advantage of the good match-up and is one of the best EDGs in Fantasy. Isaiya Katoa\u00a0(59) bounced back to form against his junior club and is a great pick-up for those looking for depth in their halves.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Nabbing the win with his one-pointer, Nathan Cleary\u00a0(93) was just shy of the triple digits himself, with\u00a0a handy captaincy\u00a0score\u00a0nonetheless. The ever-dependable\u00a0Isaah Yeo\u00a0(67) rewarded those who held fast\u00a0and\u00a0as advised,\u00a0Isaiah Papali’i\u00a0(67) showcased why you always wait a couple of weeks, after recording two below average scores the weeks previous.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Across the\u00a0Tasman,\u00a0the\u00a0Warriors roll forward\u00a0with another strong victory.\u00a0Roger Tuivasa-Sheck\u00a0(51) wound back the clock\u00a0for the second year running and is an interesting value pick since moving to the centres.\u00a0Erin Clark\u00a0(70) showed shades of his 2025 form\u00a0while fellow MID\u00a0James Fisher-Harris\u00a0(57) also had a big game.\u00a0None went larger than\u00a0Jackson\u202fFord\u00a0(83)\u00a0however as the New South Welshman makes a case for Origin.\u00a0Tanah Boyd (57) submitted another respectable performance for owners as\u00a0a\u00a0goalkicker and lead playmaker.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Finally getting\u00a0the starting role,\u00a0Cooper Bai\u00a0(55) showed why\u00a0all the big wraps leading into season 2026 and a reward for those owners who kept the faith.\u00a0Sialetili\u00a0Faeamani\u00a0(53)\u00a0also gave a big boost to the coaches who started with him and can now expect some further price rises.\u00a0Saved by a try,\u00a0Arama Hau\u00a0(54) continues to\u00a0find a way to good scoring\u00a0and is a hold through the Titans Round 8 bye.\u00a0<\/p>\n

After a few sombre years, Brandon\u202fSmith (49) showed impressive signs in his 55 minutes of play and could be great cover for Harry Grant owners. Tallis Duncan\u00a0(51)\u00a0was a popular buy after the news\u00a0David Fifita\u00a0was hurt and\u00a0held his own\u00a0without\u00a0going berserk.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Dragons skipper Damien Cook\u00a0(74) made the most of the full 80 minutes on offer\u00a0after\u00a0Jacob Liddle injured himself in the warm-up. Enforcer and DPP\u00a0Toby Couchman\u00a0(81) lead from the front\u00a0and got support from fellow young gun\u00a0Hamish Stewart\u00a0(63)\u00a0despite the fact the latter\u00a0was relegated\u00a0to\u00a0the bench\u00a0prior to kick-off.\u00a0Luciano Leilua\u00a0(56) managed\u00a0yet another solid outing as\u00a0EDGs thrive throughout the competition and\u00a0Setu Tu\u00a0(42) will get another nice price rise, only a disallowed try stopping him from breaking the half-century mark.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A great win for the Broncos with Xavier Willison\u00a0(83) and\u00a0Ben Talty\u00a0(64)\u00a0stepping up to cover the injured\u00a0Payne Haas\u00a0and\u00a0suspended\u00a0Pat Carrigan. Veteran half Adam Reynolds\u00a0(58) was the difference in the end with his\u00a0experience and organisational skills coming to the forefront, Reynolds is not a pickup consideration however as this game is likely an outlier performance.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In what became a fairly low Fantasy scoring game,\u00a0Jack Williams\u00a0(53) earnt a mention in the positives out of Parramatta\u2019s gutsy performance. As did commander\u00a0Mitch Moses (68) who lifted his troops in front of their home crowd celebrating their \u201986 premiership at CommBank. Value CTR Will\u00a0Penisini\u00a0(54) again did well and is a great cheapie option for those who can\u2019t afford both Herbie and Latrell.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In a shock upset following their convincing win against the top of the table Panthers, halfback\u00a0Lachlan Galvin (57) came through for his owners, especially impressive when scoring his second-half try. Five-eighth\u00a0Matt Burton\u00a0(54) gave his all in the loss and added goal kicking duties with\u00a0Stephen Crichton\u00a0still out injured.\u00a0In a further act of revenge\u00a0Bailey Hayward\u00a0(54) again saw the full 80 minutes and threw out solid earnings, after most traded him on already.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

His replacement\u00a0Freddy Lussick\u00a0(38) only scraped by and earnt most of his points when the game was well in hand.\u00a0Therefore\u00a0approach\u00a0Lussick with caution this week as he may not have the appropriate Fantasy profile required.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Taine\u00a0Tuaupiki was a last-minute removal from the starting side and ended up not getting on the field at all. He is one to now move on from with the potential of only playing a small amount of minutes. The slowly rising stocks in\u00a0Wayde Egan\u00a0(28) took\u00a0a\u00a0hit as the HOK position continues to trouble coaches this season.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Considered highly unlikely to make this side of the list coming into the game, Jayden Campbell\u00a0(35) had his lowest score\u00a0of the season, with an uncharacteristic quiet night for the normally energetic playmaker.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Now two weeks into his return to five-eighth, Daniel Atkinson\u00a0(28) now a \u201cmust sell\u201d following his second sub-par result in since the move to #6.\u00a0Valentine Holmes\u00a0(15) continues his lowest scoring season to date, while\u00a0Tyrell Sloan (14) was unable to back up his 51-point effort against Manly and showed us why we don\u2019t rush players known for low floors and high ceilings.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Getting his chance on the favourable left wing, Heamasi\u00a0Makasini (11) wasn\u2019t able to capitalise on the chance as he was targeted by veteran halfback Adam Reynolds. Makasini is unlikely to remain the top owned Fantasy player coming into the next round. Patrick Herbert\u00a0(30) didn\u2019t see out the match after cramping which affected his upside, although he still made significant money for those who took a punt on the cheapie.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Top\u00a0gun\u00a0Payne Haas\u00a0(24) was taken after just 33 minutes of play and\u00a0is now out for a significant period. Replacement fullback\u00a0Jesse Arthars (14)\u00a0had\u00a0some costly errors\u00a0and then a big tackle saw him hit the showers early.<\/p>\n

Heartbroken\u00a0owners\u00a0of\u00a0Jacob Kiraz\u00a0(26) had their hopes dashed after a knee complaint in the first half turned for the worst and saw curtains for his afternoon\u00a0not long after half-time. This\u00a0cements him in the growing must sell lists once lockout hits.
