\n\tPatrick Muldoon<\/a>, an actor who starred in \u201cDays of Our Lives<\/a>\u201d and \u201cMelrose Place,\u201d died on Sunday, his manager confirmed to Variety. He was 57.<\/p>\n

\n\tFrom 1992 to 1995, Muldoon originated the role of Austin Reed on the daytime soap opera \u201cDays of Our Lives.\u201d He returned to the soap to reprise the role from 2011 to 2012.<\/p>\n

\n\tHe also had a recurring role as Jeffrey Hunter in the teen television series \u201cSaved by the Bell\u201d in 1991. Muldoon also starred on the primetime soap opera \u201cMelrose Place\u201d from 1995 to 1996, playing the villain Richard Hart.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn 1997, Muldoon played the role of Zander Barcalow in the film \u201cStarship Troopers,\u201d directed by Paul Verhoeven.<\/p>\n

\n\tMuldoon was also an active producer, working on a slew of movies including \u201cThe Tribes of Palos Verdes,\u201d \u201cArkansas,\u201d \u201cMarlowe,\u201d \u201cThe Card Counter,\u201d \u201cThe Dreadful\u201d and \u201cRiff Raff\u201d through his Storyboard Productions. He was set to produce the upcoming feature \u201cKockroach,\u201d starring Chris Hemsworth. Just two days ago, Muldoon posted on Instagram: \u201cSo excited to be a part of this amazing project KOCKROACH directed by Matt Ross starring Chris Hemsworth, Taron Edgerton, Zazzie Beetz and Alec Baldwin.\u201d The production is currently filming in Australia.<\/p>\n

\n\tHis latest acting role was in \u201cDirty Hands,\u201d a new crime thriller with Denise Richards and Michael Beach. The film is slated to be released later this month.<\/p>\n
