So, when I came across this <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/vm.tiktok.com\/ZNR4Qebws\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-url=\"https:\/\/vm.tiktok.com\/ZNR4Qebws\/\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">full-body awakening flow on TikTok<\/a> I decided to give it a go.<\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-32e423d6-cb29-4985-b253-2dc823da5227\">I\u2019m used to rushing straight into my morning, coffee in hand, as I get ready. But this routine gave me time to slow down, and connect with my body and breath.<\/p>\n<p>It got my heart rate up too and I could feel tension from the night before releasing as I moved.<\/p>\n<p>Slow-paced and intentional, the practice created a gentle transition between waking and moving into the rest of my day.<\/p>\n<p>I found that nurturing my mind-body connection first thing in the morning led me to make more mindful choices throughout the rest of the day.<\/p>\n<p>I felt energized for once, rather than relying on my morning coffee to get me going.<\/p>\n<p>By the end of the week I was looking forward to rolling out of bed and onto my mat for qigong.
